Bible Study – Our God is God of the Living

Jesus said that our God is not the God of the dead but the God of the living. This is an absolute assurance for everyone who believes in God. Jesus said this in the context of the resurrection.
Jesus is the only authority on life beyond death. The hope for all mankind is to live again – to be raised back to life after death. Therefore, the hope of mankind is the resurrection from death to life. Jesus demonstrated the hope of the resurrection with His own life.
